Owned and operated by Dr. Martina Suleiman, an experienced and qualified doctor in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer who has a passion for helping people. The circular elements in the logo represent community and togetherness, giving a friendly and approachable feel which is important to us.

Clinic Owner / Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor

Originally born in Slovakia and graduating with a post-graduate degree in general practice, Martina later moved to Glasgow and worked in emergency medicine. She has a special interest in skin cancer and has completed her Advanced Clinical Certificate in Dermoscopy and Certificate in Skin Cancer Surgery. Martina has been a GP for the last 10 years, including becoming a Fellow GP in 2017 and is now an accredited skin cancer doctor through the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. Martina’s interests include not only surgical management but also topical and non-surgical treatments.
Martina enjoys spending weekends exploring the Marlborough Sounds, gardening, cooking and entertaining. She is a warm and caring doctor who puts patients at ease and is always sure to make them smile.

Dr Chris Vodde is an experienced GP and member of New Zealand Skin Cancer Doctors. Originally from the Netherlands, he moved to New Zealand in 2012 with his young family. He has experience as a doctor in emergency and surgical departments, and as a general practitioner for many years. He has a special interest in skin cancer and is now working full time in skin cancer.
Nursing Team
Our nursing team is made up of four superstars; Julie, Michele, Anna and Caitlin. They each have extensive experience in surgery, wound care and hold an SCCA certificate in dermoscopy. They are all experienced dermoscopist nurses. Their warm and caring personalities will make you feel at ease during your consultation.

Outside of work, you will find Julie on the golf course or tending to her beautiful garden. She has a love of travel and is a frequent jet-setter!

Michele’s hobbies boating, travelling and entertaining. Living down the Marlborough Sounds, she is a keen boatie and loves a good cruise ship trip!

Outside of work, Anna runs a beautiful bed and breakfast on her family home in Rapaura and loves spending time exploring the local attractions in Marlborough.

Caitlin is a keen gardener and dab hand at anything creative! She creates amazing cakes for her hobby business, Caked by Caitlin, and has a beautiful dahlia patch with over 200 varieties on her lifestyle property.

Our administration team is made up of three superstars: Brydie, Amie and Melissa. Brydie, who has been with the clinic since its inception, manages the clinic and Amie and Melissa are the warm and welcoming smiles you will be greeted with at reception.

Amie’s time is mostly taken up by her three children’s many sporting endeavours! In between driving them here, there and everywhere, she enjoys the outdoors and adventure racing.
Melissa
Administrator
Melissa and her husband live in rural Marlborough with their three children. Although she doesn’t have a lot of idle time between her children’s many extra-curricular activities, they love spending time down the Marlborough Sounds at her family batch when they can.
